Seeking multiple Landscapers, including a Landscape Supervisor, temp-to-perm positions located downtown Charleston. These positions are with a state agency which gives you the opportunity to get your foot in the door to be hired directly and build a long-term career with great benefits! Schedule is Monday-Friday (no weekend work!).
Primary duties – under the direction of the Grounds Dept Manager will oversee a team of Landscapers while performing pruning, weeding, mulching, fertilizing, pesticide application
Safely operate power equipment: Tractor, Hedge trimmers, zero turn mowers, aerator, string trimmers, edger, blower, pressure washer, etc.
Shrub and small tree pruning and trimming
Pull and spray weeds
Planting trees, shrubs and flowers
Trash collection
Other duties
Pressure washing
Other grounds maintenance tasks as needed
Compensation is based on experience.
