Contract Position with Expectation of Extension or Permanent Conversion (based on attendance, performance, need)
6+ years of recent precision drilling or sheet metal experience on Aircraft required.
As the Aircraft Structures/Assembler in Greenville, South Carolina, F16 Technician you will be responsible for interpreting blueprints, Fastener lay outs, fabricates, assembles, installs and repairs various sheet metal and structural assemblies and sub-assemblies for F16 aircraft utilizing precision measuring equipment.
The Production Structures/Assembler (sheet metal mechanic), F16 Technician will also need to be knowledgeable in aircraft structural assembly operation and maintenance to include:
• Precision Drilling/Reaming
• Riveting/installation of various fasteners
• Countersinking/Part Trimming
Very hands on Production Structures build-up of fuselage components.
Required:
- Successfully pass with a score of 75% or higher, sheet metal assessment completed on firs week of training
- 6+ years of recent precision drilling or sheet metal experience on Aircraft required.
- Must be able to work first or second shift. Contractor will train on 1st shift and work shift will be assigned after training.
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must successfully complete 7 year criminal background check, drug test (including cannabis), and hearing test
