    Job Description
    We are seeking an Accounts Payable Associate to support our growing AP function and provide leverage to the Accounts Payable Manager. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with invoice processing, vendor management, and AP workflows in a controlled environment. This is a key operational role that contributes directly to the accuracy and efficiency of the company’s financial processes.
    While experience with Workday and prior exposure to construction industry accounting are pluses, they are not required. We are looking for a detail-oriented team player with strong organizational skills and a commitment to accuracy and timely execution.
    Key Responsibilities
    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy, proper coding, and compliance with company policies.
    • Support the AP Manager in maintaining the AP ledger and ensuring timely payments.
    • Assist with routing invoices through approval workflows and monitoring outstanding items.
    • Respond to vendor inquiries and help resolve discrepancies or payment issues.
    • Assist with vendor setup and maintenance, including W-9 collection and documentation.
    • Help prepare weekly payment runs and support cash flow planning.
    • Contribute to month-end close activities, including accruals and reconciliations.
    • Support AP-related reporting and documentation requirements.
    • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
    • Assist with system-related tasks and enhancements; Workday experience is beneficial.

    Qualifications

    • Previous experience in accounts payable or a related accounting/finance role.
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills for working with vendors and internal teams.
    • Proficiency in Excel and comfort with financial systems; Workday experience is a plus.
    • Construction industry experience is a plus but not required.
    • Ability to work collaboratively and take direction while also demonstrating initiative.

  • Legal Secretary

    Seeking a Legal Secretary for a position located in downtown Charleston, SC. This role is fully in-office roles (no remote option). Hours are flexible Monday-Friday between 7:30am-5:30pm – 40 hours per week.

    Key Responsibilities:

    – Prepare and format legal documents, correspondence, and reports using Microsoft Office Suite.
    – Manage attorney calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings.
    – Maintain and organize client files and legal documents, ensuring confidentiality.
    – Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including phone calls, emails, and mail.
    – Assist in the preparation of court filings and ensure timely delivery.
    – Perform general administrative duties, such as data entry, photocopying, and faxing.
    – Support attorneys with case management and trial preparation.

    Qualifications:

    – Proven experience as a Legal Secretary or in a similar role.
    – Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
    – Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
    – Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    – Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Experience in the legal field is preferred but not required. Candidates should be proficient with all Microsoft Office products and be willing to work in the office in order to support attorneys and work collaboratively with litigation teams.
