  • Environmental Health & Safety Manager

    We are working with a well-established heavy industrial manufacturer located in Dorchester County/Ridgeville, SC seeking an HSSE Manager.  This role will oversee a team that ensures compliance to company policies in order to maintain the health and safety of its employees and adherence to local, state, and federal regulations.  The HSSE Manager will work as part of the site leadership team and play an integral part day-to-day operations.  We are seeking an individual with proven experience as a leader in promoting safety awareness in a manufacturing setting.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Enforce HSE policies and ensure legal compliance
    • Promote safety culture through training, coaching, and awareness initiatives
    • Identify risks and lead continuous improvement efforts
    • Conduct inspections, audits, and incident investigations
    • Develop and execute site-specific HSE plans with leadership
    • Monitor and report HSE performance, issues, and statistics
    • Oversee documentation, certifications, and compliance requirements
    • Serve as the main HSE liaison with authorities and internal stakeholders

    Preferred Experience & Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Occupations, Health & Safety (required)
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing environment
    • Knowledge of ISO 14001
    • Strong leadership skills in order to influence team members to adhere to HSSE policies

  • Staff Accountant II

    Seeking an experienced Accountant for a role with a manufacturer located in Dorchester County who will be responsible for supporting financial operations, improving processes, and ensuring accurate reporting. This position requires independence, leadership, and the ability to mentor junior staff while collaborating across departments. A heavy focus on this role will be in auditing and monitoring expenses for compliance.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage complex general ledger work and month-end close
    • Analyze financial data and prepare reports
    • Improve AR/AP processes and support budgeting/forecasting
    • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies
    • Assist with audits, payroll reporting, inventory, and fixed assets
    • Train junior staff and support cross-functional initiatives
    • Multi-state/entity accounting

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA preferred)
    • 3–5 years of experience
    • Must have advanced skills in Excel, knowledge of SAP and Concur
    • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities
    • Experience working with global accounting teams preferred
